Yield strength of titanium is also higher. At extremely low temperatures titanium is not damaged as other metals but vice versa becomes firmer. Therefore titanium is a basic construction material of space vehicles.Titanium can be alloyed with aluminum , vanadium & molybdenum among all other metals it produce strong lightweight alloys mainly use in aerospace it also use in industrial process plants. The processing of titanium metal occurs in 4 major steps:
1) Reduction of titanium ore into “sponge”
2) A porous form; melting of sponge, or sponge plus a master alloy to form an ingot
3) Primary fabrication, where an ingot is converted into general mill products such as bar, plate, billet, tubes , strip, and sheets.
4) Secondary fabrication of finished shapes from mill products.
